How to plan training around business travel

Keep training and nutrition on track through business travel with a personal plan, practical habits and close support from Goran.

Keep your goal in the picture

Training around business travel starts with a plan that reflects the trip ahead. Flights, meetings, business meals and a different gym all shape what you can do. Tell me what your schedule looks like before you leave, so we can bring your training, nutrition and everyday habits into a practical plan.

I want you to understand your priorities and know how to follow through when the diary changes. Be honest about the time you can protect and the commitments you cannot move. We can use that information to keep working towards your goal.

Check the details before you leave

Start with your itinerary and accommodation. A hotel listing that says gym may tell you very little about the equipment or opening hours. Check those details and share them with me so any adjustments reflect what you will actually have available.

Look at the whole day when choosing a training window. Include travel between appointments and the time needed to get ready afterwards. Choose a slot you can realistically use.

  • Which days have a workable training window?
  • What equipment will you have access to, and when?
  • Which meals and evening commitments are already arranged?
  • Where might the schedule change, and what is your backup?

Know your priorities and your backup

We can adapt your training to the time and equipment available while keeping a clear purpose for each session. If something in the plan will not work on the trip, raise it before you leave where possible. You should arrive knowing what to focus on.

For example, if Tuesday’s only free period depends on a meeting finishing on time, identify another workable slot. If your usual session cannot fit, ask me about a suitable shorter option. Making that decision in advance gives you a practical way to follow through.

Make room for nutrition and recovery

Look at the food options around your accommodation and meetings. Knowing when you can eat and what is available helps us make your nutrition plan practical. Tell me about the business meals and social commitments too, so the approach is designed around the trip you are taking.

Include rest in that picture. Share details of overnight travel, late events or disrupted sleep. That context helps me understand how you are getting on and guide adjustments to your plan.

Stay in touch and use what you learn

You can message me at any time through the coaching app or WhatsApp. Keep me involved when you have a question or something changes. Close support works best when you share honest updates about your training, nutrition, habits and the obstacles you are facing.

Record what you completed and what made it easier or harder to follow the plan. When you return, we can use those details to shape the next week and prepare for future trips. Keep the parts that worked and be clear about what needs to change.

Build habits that travel with you

Your plan is personal, and so is the way it adapts. I bring the structure and guidance; you make room for the work, log it and communicate. That shared effort helps us keep moving towards your goal while building the understanding and discipline to maintain your habits as life changes.
